Black Momentum, Space, 2025 ist eine Weiterentwicklung von Black Momentum, Space, 2023 . In dem neuen Werk bildet die papierne Architektur einen monumentalen, klar begrenzten ‘Raum im Raum’ in der Umgebungsarchitektur. Eine Seite weist einen schmalen, niederen Eingang auf, durch den man in den Innenraum eintreten kann. Dieser Eingangsbereich ist mit einer Blende verdeckt, die etwas kürzer als die Wand ist. Zwischen Blende und Wand besteht ein schmaler, kurzer Durchgang, den es zu durchschreiten gilt, um in den leeren Innenraum zu gelangen. Dieser ist mit gedämpftem, kaltem Licht nur wenig beleuchtet, so dass man beim Betreten zunächst von einer atmosphärischen Dunkelheit und Leere umfangen wird. Durch die offene Decke dringt Streulicht hinein. Langsam adaptieren sich die Augen, werden lichtempfindlicher, der Raum erscheint heller, die Strukturen, Formen und Farbnuancierungen der schwarzen Papierbahnen werden differenzierbarer. Es bleiben diffuse, unscharfe, dunkle Bereiche bestehen. Die Dunkelheit und Leere fordern die Betrachtenden heraus, werden diese darin auf sich selbst zurückgeworfen. Raum und Licht im Zusammenspiel mit dem Schwarz und der Materialität des Papieres evozieren Raum- und Zeitdimensionen, die weit über das Menschliche hinausweisen und Existentielles in den Fokus der Betrachtung setzen.

Black Momentum, Space, 2025 is a further development of Black Momentum, Space, 2023. In the new work, the paper architecture forms a monumental, clearly marked space within a space in the surrounding architecture. On one side, it has a narrow, low entrance through which you can enter the inner space. This entrance area is concealed by a blind that is slightly shorter than the wall. There is a narrow, short passageway between the blind and the wall, which the visitor must pass through to reach the empty interior. This is only slightly illuminated by dim, cold light, so that on entering one is first enveloped by an atmospheric darkness and emptiness. Scattered light penetrates through the open ceiling. Slowly the eyes adapt, become more sensitive to light, the room appears brighter, the structures, shapes and colour nuances of the black paper panels become more differentiated. Diffuse, blurred, dark areas remain. The darkness and emptiness challenge the viewers, who are thrown back on themselves. Space and light in combination with the black and the materiality of the paper evoke dimensions of space and time that point far beyond the human and place the existential in the focus of contemplation.
