Elements of the River's flow ist initiiert und inspiriert von einer Einladung der KuratorInnen Ursula Wolf und Elmar Gangl vom Projekt www.klafter.li. Ich danke für die Einladung.
Dieses Werk ist Symbol dafür, in einem achtungsvollen Einklang mit den Elementen der Natur, der Schöpfung zu sein. Dies im Bewusstsein, dass alles kostbar und dennoch vergänglich ist und gerade deshalb einen sorgsamen, achtungsvollen Umgang erfordert, damit nachfolgendes Leben weiter bestehen kann.
In der Begegnung mit einem Kunstwerk können wir individuelle und kollektive Erfahrungen neu erleben. Diese können für das Leben prägend sein, uns zum Nach- und Umdenken und aktiven Handeln anregen, so dass neue Entwicklungen zum Positiven hin in Gesellschaften initiiert und weitergetragen werden können. Kunst in jeglicher Form kann in dieser Hinsicht einen bedeutenden Beitrag leisten und ist in der aktuellen komplexen, herausfordernden geopolitischen Weltlage wichtiger denn je.

This work symbolizes being in a respectful harmony with the elements of nature and creation. It embodies the knowledge that everything is precious and yet transient and therefore requires careful, respectful interaction so that life can continue.
In the encounter with a work of art, we can experience individual and collective experiences anew. This can be life-changing and inspire us to reflect and actively engage, so that new positive cultural developments in society can be initiated and driven forward. Art in any form can contribute significantly in this context and is more important than ever in the current complex and challenging geopolitical situation.
